Privacy

We do not use advertising trackers or Google Analytics. License data comes from IDFPR’s public Professional Licensing dataset and includes name, license or registration details, city, ZIP, county and discipline records. We publish city and county, not street addresses.

Claims: we store the license number, your name, role, business email, phone, website and any document you upload, only to verify and manage the listing. Documents are kept up to 120 days. We email only verification and owner codes that you ask for. Ask us to delete your claim data at any time.

Quote requests: we store your request, name, email and optional phone for up to 12 months and share them only with up to 3 licensed Illinois CPAs who have claimed their listing and opted in to requests. We don't sell them or use them for marketing.

Chat: questions you type are sent to our AI provider (xAI) to write the answer, together with matching records from the IDFPR data and text from this site. We keep rate-limit counters keyed to a hashed IP address, not the conversation.

ASO checker: we fetch the public URL you enter.

Newsletter

If you sign up for Licensed Illinois updates, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up, the page you signed up on and your consent. We use it only to send the newsletter and never sell or share it. Every issue will include an unsubscribe link, or you can email [email protected] at any time to be removed and have your address deleted.
